Thank you for 2008

On this last day of 2008 I am giving thanks for all of my customers that have given me another year in business. I look forward to helping all with their Ready To Smock in the year of 2009. Please remember that each other is treated as a Special Order there are no cookie cutter orders, no assembly line workers but seamtress working on each garment separately. I know that the shipping times on your orders have not been as fast as you would like but we try and keep each order in date order on the clipboards. My goals for 2009 will be to handle orders as quickly as possible and still give the customer a beautiful garment for smocking.
We have just received Spechler Vogels new Baby Plisse, as you remember they stopped production of this fabric a couple of years back but now have started producing this fabric again. I can tell that the new Plisse has more puff. We have in stock White, Pink and Blue. I have hemstitched the new Plisse and the holes look really good, for all those Spring and Summer Receiving Blankets, so for all of you who love to Crochet these blankets are ready. I know that I have given alot of these blankets as gifts, I have found that crocheting with a color thread and then Machine Monograming the childs name on the blanket in the color that I used in crocheting makes Beautiful gifts. So remember we offer these Hemstitched blankets in flannel and plisse.
So until next year I Pray for all to have a safe and Happy New Year.

Where has the time gone?

Today I am working and wondering where has the time gone, I was on the phone talking to UPS about my account and they told me that my account started in 1985 that will be 24 years coming in the new year, and I was in business about 7 years before I started my UPS account. I was trying to think of how many garments I have pleated in this amount of time. Without my good customers these years would not count for anything. I can not say that I will be still pleating for another 24 years because that would mean that I would still be working when I am 81 years old (now that gives away my age) but by the precious gift of Grace from God I will still be pleating for years to come.
I hope we can all look back on this year and give thanks for having hands that will allow us to use our gifts that God has given us, and to be able to smile when we see our garments being worn by our precious Children.
I hope these last 2 days of 2008 are good ones for you and your family and we can look forward to a new year together.
