New Year

Happy New Year Smockers,
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As I think of new items to add to the Ready To Smock line I need your help. This Christmas I made several 18" Doll dresses in a Bishop style for my Granddaughter's. I am wondering if this would be something that I should consider adding to the Ready To Smock. It would be only offered in a Bishop Style with long sleeves to cover any cloth arms on the dolls. Seeing your Doll with the same fabric in her dress as you have in your dress makes little girls very happy. Let me know what you think, if you have ordered any of the Doll Clothes from major companies then you know how much they cost but a matching smocked dress for that Precious Little Girl and her Doll will put a smile on little girls.

New Fabrics

Good Morning to all my Stitchers, I attended Fabric Market last weekend and came back with some new items. I will post them and hope the colors are clear enough for you to see. All of the prints match up with other fabrics like the 1008 that I am showing today will coordinate with the Paprika 1/16 gingham and the new Sprout 1/16 gingham and the Leaf Corduroy. So use you imagination let me know what you think.

My mom, Sue Condrey, has asked me to update her blog since she is unable to do it herself. Due to the terrible tornados which came through Alabama this past week, she is without power and phone service and therefore is unable to sew. Her home did not experience the damages so many others did and she is very thankful. She hasn't been told how much longer to expect the power outage, but hopes it's restored soon so she can begin working on your orders again. She's very sorry for the delay and any inconveniences. HOT OFF THE PRESS!!!!!! NEW FROM FABRIC FINDERS IS THIS TWILL DOT #657. LIME IN ANY FABRIC IS BIG THIS HOLIDAY SEASON AND THE LIME & CRIMSON RED WITH KELLY GREEN DOTS ON WHITE BACKGROUND WILL BE A HIT THIS YEAR. IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE KELLY'S KIDS CHRISTMAS CATALOG FOR THIS YEAR THEY SHOW A BISHOP IN A FABRIC VERY CLOSE TO THIS FABRIC BUT THEIR RED IS A CHRISTMAS RED NOT A CRIMSON RED.
